Madeline Morasca
Madeline Morasca is a Junior studying Nuclear, Plasma, and Radiological Engineering with a concentration in Power, Safety, and the Environment. Madeline has been an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the Socio-Technical Risk Analysis (SoTeRiA) Laboratory since October of her freshman year, and is the recipient of the 2021 NPRE Rising Undergraduate Research Award for excellence in research and academics and the 2022-2023 ANS Joseph Naser Undergraduate Scholarship (HFIC) for her research in the human factors, instrumentation, and controls division. Madeline is also Co-President of UIUC’s Women In Nuclear Chapter, and previously served as both Outreach Chair and Secretary. Madeline’s engagement in the department is further demonstrated through her involvement as a member of the American Nuclear Society and her role as a TA for NPRE 200 this semester.
