Biography

Matthew Koziol is currently a senior in the Nuclear, Plasma, and Radiological Engineering (NPRE) department at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He previously worked at the Advanced Reactors and Fuel Cycles (ARFC) research group under Prof. Huff. Also working over the summer at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) as a Radiological Engineer in Carlsbad, NM. Currently working with Professor Mohaghegh and SoTeRiA labs on the INL Fire PRA Project dealing with importance ranking techniques and computational methods. After graduation he plans to work in risk analysis or attend grad school for PRA.
