Biography

Aadit Bhatia is currently an undergraduate in Nuclear, Plasma, and Radiological Engineering (NPRE) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a concentration in Power, Safety, and the Environment. In addition to the major, he is currently pursuing a minor in Data Science, planning to graduate in Fall 2027. Aadit is currently taking classes related to probabilistic risk assessment, including NPRE 461 (Probabilistic Risk Assessment) in Fall 2025 and NPRE 561 (Advanced Risk Analysis for Technological Systems) in Spring 2026.

Aadit joined the SoTeRiA research team in Spring 2025, and his current research focus is assisting in development of coupling Physics of Failure (PoF) and maintenance performance for piping reliability analysis.
