John Beal awarded NEUP Fellowship for Socio-Technical Risk Analysis research

Congratulations to our SoTeRiA team member John Beal!

John Beal, a graduating senior in NPRE’s Power concentration, was selected for a three-year fellowship from the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Nuclear Energy University Program (NEUP). Beal has been a member of Professor Zahra Mohaghegh’s Socio-Technical Risk Analysis (SoTeRiA) Research Lab (https://soteria.npre.illinois.edu) since Spring 2019 and will continue his graduate studies with Prof. Mohaghegh as his advisor.
